Denham, UK. 5th November, 2020. HS2 security guards and enforcement agents monitor three anti-HS2 activists occasionally wading in the river Colne at Denham Ford during bridge building works connected to the HS2 high-speed rail link on the first day of the second national coronavirus lockdown. One activist wading in the river is pushed into the water. Prime Minister Boris Johnson has advised that construction work may continue during the second lockdown but those working on construction projects are required to adhere to Site Operating Procedures including social distancing guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
