Calvert, UK. 6th October, 2020. A small camp recently set up by anti-HS2 activists using wood and other resources donated by local residents. The camp, which is situated close to the Calvert Jubilee nature reserve where trees have recently been felled and vegetation cleared by contractors working on behalf of HS2 Ltd, is one of several such protest camps set up by activists in order to resist the controversial £106bn HS2 high-speed rail link.
