2019-12-20 Syd's Coffee Stall serves its last customer after 100 years

Syd's Coffee Stall, which has been run by three generations of the Tothill family on the corner of Shoreditch High Street and Calvert Avenue since 1919, serves its very last customer before closing for business. The mahogany coffee stall, part of east London’s history, will go on display in the new Museum of London in Smithfield in 2024.
