2019-11-19 XR #ElectionRebellion Hunger Strike Day 2

10 images Created 19 Nov 2019

London, UK. 19 November, 2019. Hunger striking climate activists from Extinction Rebellion assemble outside the party headquarters of the Labour Party, Conservative Party and Liberal Democrats on the second day of an ‘Election Rebellion’ hunger strike with three demands for election candidates: to tell the truth by declaring a Climate and Ecological Emergency, to promote policies to halt biodiversity loss and reduce greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2025 and to help the Government create and be led by a Citizen’s Assembly on climate and ecological justice. I was advised that activists are also present outside the headquarters of Plaid Cymru and the Green Party.
