Boris Johnson arrives at the headquarters of the Conservative Party following the announcement at the QEII Centre that he had been elected as the party leader in a ballot of party members and would therefore replace Theresa May as Prime Minister. He beat the other candidate, Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt by 92,153 votes to 46,656.
