2019-07-15 PCS BEIS indefinite strike action

Catering, security, postal, porter and cleaning staff belonging to the PCS trade union and outsourced via contractors ISS World and Aramark to work at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) stand on the picket line outside the Government department after having walked out for indefinite strike action for the London Living Wage, terms and conditions comparable to the civil servants they work alongside and an end to outsourcing. The PCS union members at BEIS have been fighting for these rights for three years and taking intermittent strike action for the past six months.
