2019-07-10 Senegalese community protest against BP

Members of the Senegalese community in the UK who support Senegalese civil society movement Aar Li Ñu Bokk protest outside Chatham House during an event consisting of an interview by Evan Davis of BP Group Chief Executive Bob Dudley to discuss achieving a balance between increasing energy needs and climate change considerations. The protest followed a BBC Panorama exposé on a $10bn petrol and gas corruption scandal in Senegal for which the protesters hold BP accountable, as well as the awarding of an oil exploitation contract through Timis Corporation.
