Lord Alf Dubs joins Safe Passage campaigners, Barbara Winton, daughter of Sir Nicholas Winton, politicians including Tim Farron and Tracy Brabin, Ishmael Hamoud, the first child to arrive under the Dubs scheme, and children from the Hugh Myddelton Primary School Refugee Committee at a demonstration in Parliament Square to call on the Government to resettle 10,000 unaccompanied refugee children over 10 years. As part of Lord Dubs’ ‘Our Turn’ campaign, councils around the UK have already pledged places for over 1,100 children should the Government make a new resettlement commitment.
