London, UK. 11 June, 2019. Activists from Extinction Rebellion disrupt the Royal Opera House BP Big Screen’s Romeo and Juliet event in Trafalgar Square in protest against oil sponsorship of the arts. Activists at the ‘Petroleo and Fueliet’ protest highlighted the contradiction between the Government and Greater London Authority having declared a climate emergency and BP being given a platform to sponsor the Royal Opera House event in the heart of London.
