2 images Created 10 Jun 2019

London, UK. 10 June, 2019. Activists from the London Renters Union protest outside the offices of One Housing in Chalk Farm to call on the housing association to withdraw eviction notices issued under s21 Housing Act 1988 against its members living in a ‘guardianship home’ and also to call for the provision of suitable alternative accommodation. The activists also entered the building to raise the issues directly with One Housing. The London Renters Union is a member-led, campaigning union which takes collective action to ensure that all Londoners have a ‘decent, secure and affordable place to call home’ and to support members faced with housing problems such as the threat of eviction, disrepair or stolen deposits.
