London, UK. 22nd May, 2019. Green Party MP Caroline Lucas joins Scott Ainslie and Gulnar Hasnain, Green MEP candidates for London in the European elections, and party activists for campaigning in East Dulwich and Peckham (Southwark) and in Gipsy Hill (Lambeth) ahead of tomorrow's vote. They visited Goose Green Primary school, including a green pollution screen local Green Party members helped to plant, and Marsden Road Centre for Wildlife Gardening during the visit. After Gibraltar, Lambeth is the most pro-Remain area of the UK, with 78.6% having voted Remain in 2016. Following a large swing to the Green Party in Gipsy Hill, historically a safe Labour seat, Pete Elliott was elected as a Green councillor in Gipsy Hill in May 2018.
