Harefield, UK. 27th April 2019. Environmental activists from Colne Valley Action successfully prevent tree felling work for the HS2 high-speed rail link scheduled for this weekend by occupying trees earmarked for felling. The Colne Valley is an area of natural beauty and large areas of trees have been felled there for HS2 in recent weeks. Protesters based at the Harvil Road Wildlife Protection Camp are seeking to prevent further destruction.
