Police officers attempt to clear Waterloo bridge of climate change activists from Extinction Rebellion, initially focusing on the vehicle used as a stage and sound system. The activists had occupied the bridge for six days and converted it into a garden bridge as part of an International Rebellion intended to call on the British government to take urgent action to combat climate change. Even amid large numbers of police officers, the activists succeeded in creating a friendly, mutually supportive and at times euphoric ambience for their last evening on the bridge.
