London, UK. 19th April, 2019. A large policing operation drawing in officers from other police forces including Essex, Kent and Wales is put in place in and around Heathrow airport in preparation for expected protests by climate change activists from Extinction Rebellion. However, only a small symbolic protest by teenage activists from Extinction Rebellion Youth takes place, dispersed by police officers following warnings that the young activists would otherwise be arrested. Extinction Rebellion are now at Today is the fifth day of Extinction Rebellion's International Rebellion protests in London to call on the government to take urgent steps to combat climate change.
