London, UK. 30th March, 2019. Activists from London Palestine Action sing reworded Eurovision songs at protests outside the studios of Magic FM and the Gielgud Theatre to call on Mel Giedroyc to withdraw from hosting Eurovision 2019 in Tel Aviv in recognition of the Palestinian call for a cultural boycott of Israel and in order not to assist with the ‘culturewashing’ of Israeli human rights abuses. Mel Giedroyc has a Saturday show on Magic FM and is appearing in the musical 'Company' at the Gielgud Theatre.
