11 images Created 20 Mar 2019

London, UK. 20th March, 2019. Prime Minister Theresa May, Leader of the Opposition Jeremy Corbyn, Ministers and MPs leave Parliament on another eventful day in the Brexit process. Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister announced to Parliament that she had written to EU Council President Donald Tusk to request a delay to Brexit until 30th June. She had later met Cabinet Ministers and then Opposition leaders with the exception of Jeremy Corbyn - who was reported to have walked out of the meeting after objecting to the presence of Independent Group spokesperson Chuka Umunna - before making a statement in Downing Street placing the blame for the delay to Brexit with MPs.
