2019-03-18 Protest against Landlord Conference at UoL

London, UK. 18th March, 2019. Students and supporters of the Independent Workers of Great Britain (IWGB) trade union protest outside University of London Senate House against their hosting of a Landlord Forum, as well as against the university's policy of outsourcing workers used as security, cleaners, gardeners, porters, caterers and receptionists. It is very difficult for such precarious workers to find suitable housing in London and the private housing sector operates in such a way as to increase their precarity.
