London, UK. 8th February, 2019. Pro-Palestinian activists attend a 'Love Eurovision, Hate Apartheid!' protest organised by London Palestine Action outside BBC Broadcasting House to call on the BBC to withdraw from the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest hosted by Israel so as to avoid complicity in 'artwashing' Israel's violations of Palestinian human rights. The protest formed part of a global campaign to Boycott Eurovision in Israel. There was a small counter-protest by pro-Israel activists.
