London, UK. 2nd February, 2019. Campaigners from Amnesty International UK and the University and College Union (UCU) join the family and friends of Cambridge University PhD student Giulio Regeni at a vigil outside the Egyptian embassy to mark three years since his mutilated body was discovered in a ditch outside Cairo. A letter was also delivered to the embassy calling for an independent investigation into the disappearance, torture and death of the 28-year-old student.
