Extinction Rebellion Block Entrances To Farnborough Airport Farnborough

Farnborough, UK. 2nd October, 2021. Extinction Rebellion climate activists lie in the road locked to fuel barrels to block an entrance to Farnborough Airport. Activists blocked three entrances to the private airport to highlight elevated carbon dioxide levels produced by super-rich passengers using private jets and 'greenwashing' by the airport in announcing a switch to sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
