Environmental activists lock on to HS2 drilling rig, Harefield, UK

Partially-sighted former Paralympic cyclist James Brown of Extinction Rebellion waves from a Metropolitan Police vehicle following his arrest at a HS2 site in the Colne Valley. He was arrested after locking himself with a fellow activist onto a drilling rig which environmental activists believe will be used to drill into the aquifer which supplies 22% of London’s drinking water, risking contamination.
