Engineers and security guards survey land cleared at Buckinghamshire Golf Club in the Colne Valley for works planned in conjunction with the HS2 high-speed rail link including the felling of mature trees in a nature reserve on the other side of the river Colne and the construction of a Bailey bridge across the river. Environmental activists are occupying trees in Denham Country Park in an attempt to prevent or hinder the work.
